How We Work
1. You decide that you need a website.2. We meet for about an hour, and may use the Website Content Worksheet and Website Planning Worksheet to come up with the look and content required for your site.
3. We go over and sign the Website Design Contract. Payment for sites (projects) less than $1000 is due and payable at this time. Otherwise, you will pay 50% of the final cost of the site.
4. I create a few layout ideas for the site. You pick one you like, or suggest other colors, layout options, ...etc. Once we agree on colors and layout we proceed to the next step.
5. You get all your copy(text) and images for the site prepared and then either hand-deliver or email all the information to me.
6. I build your website. It normally takes between two and four weeks for this step. Along the way, I will send you links to the site as I am working on it, so you can see the progess and be sure we are heading in the right direction.
7. The final design is approved. At this point, we upload the files to your server so your site can be seen on the internet at your domain name. The site is then submitted to search engines and targeted traffic starts heading your way.
8. Congratulate yourself on choosing Prescott Websites, and that you have a functional and attractive website that will bring you lots of business, or fame, or whatever it was you designed it to do.
At any point in the process, feel free to make suggestions for changes, as it is harder after the site is finished to do so. Don't be afraid to ask questions either, if you don't understand or need more clarification on something.
